The title of this piece refers to the practical spiritual guidebook written by an unknown English Carthusian monk during the 14th century and while the book's content deals specifically with spiritual unknowing, I am using the reference to refer to a more general search for answers to the choices we are confronted with daily. Each new question or option for change has its own path of exploration and completion. In this piece, the doors, windows and stairs focus our thoughts on the options we face and the question of which door or window we should venture through, to reach self fulfillment and understanding.
