High Road (SOLD)

High Road is the mountain road to Taos from Espanola. It is a road I drive frequently for inspiration and shows imagery relating to things I see and think about of those drives. The front of the chair has rooted corn stalks growing up the sides from a pile of Native Pottery, a reference to the history of the land. The top of the front shows the Chimayo Church, which is a pilgrimage site. The back of the chair shows the Corn Kachina guarding over the landscape.
