| Secret Keeper 28"t x 9"w x 8"d |

The doll form in this piece seems to be pregnant with secrets. Again, the chair sets the scene for a story and the branches covering the chair refer to a family tree. Just the image of an ignored doll left in a chair with no head and no arms, urges the viewer to question the meaning. Her oversized pink dress, slipping off her chest, (getting something off ones chest) has a text in raised letters that relates a hidden story. The little pink bird looks over the edge of the chair and refers to the saying my father used on us as children. We were always surprized when our parents found out something that we were hiding and he used to say..."A Little Bird Told Me". |
