| Ten Miel (Have Honey) |
|||||||||||
This is one of the vessels I made that really belongs to the Dicho Series. The text overlaying the imagery of bees and honeycomb, reads: "Si no tiene dinero en su bolsa, ten miel en su boca". The translation is: "If you don't have money in your purse, have honey in your mouth". The vessel is clearly empty and the surface of the vessel is what contains the message-the meaning is that even if your purse or your personal contents are empty, what you show people on the surface, is most important. |
